Yancey Music Center Inc. is a family based business born from David Yancey's deep love of music and his experience as a seasoned performer. It is a place created by a musician for the purpose of helping musicians do what they do best- create and play music. Our professional staff offer a fun environment for people of all levels of musical skill and talent, from total beginners to full-time musicians.     Yancey Music Center's aim is to provide excellence of service to the broad based community as a whole at reasonable cost to allow everyone to experience the joy of music. We place importance on spending time with each customer to determine the best possible solution for their musical requirements and budget In our Music Education department, our wonderful music teachers have helped many new musicians get started, as well as bringing more advanced students to the next level. Repair and restoration of stringed instruments is a specialty of ours. Our String Technician, Gary Hallenbeck, does wonderful work on a variety of instruments, and  improves their playability to the max.
