LINDA COLE LINDA COLE
VOCAL INSTRUCTORLinda Cole has been teaching voice for over four decades and has been a performing artist for over five decades.
Born into the Singing Cole Dynasty in Northern Illinois, Linda got her initial training from her father and mother; both naturally gifted singers and musicians. They encouraged and nurtured her natural musical talent. After seven years of training in piano and music theory, Linda was instrumental in teaching her six siblings to sing and perform; which resulted in an honorable mention of the Singing Cole Family in the Illinois history books. While spending a decade (1970 - 1980) with the Motown Review at the Mega-Star record label Motown, in Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Cole polished her stage presence, microphone skills, and audience delivery. Currently performing throughout the State of Florida, Linda Cole is passing on her expertise in vocal art to anyone seriously interested in learning how to communicate through singing and speaking properly; with the human instrument: The Voice. She will be teaching voice at Yancey Music Center; known for its exceptional music teachers and advanced offerings of teaching tools.
Linda can be seen performing at many of the top nightspots in the Daytona and Orlando area. She has recently been singing at The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach and Timpano Italian Chophouse in Orlando. Her current performing schedule can be found at LindaColeSings.com
Ms. Cole teaches Tuesday, and Wednesday. She prefers 1 hour lessons, explaining that by the time our vocal chords have warmed up, 30 minutes is almost over. If the student is aged 10 or under, 30 minutes is ok. She is very uplifting and encouraging to all her students and takes a special interest in each one, most of whom love her like family.
